Lamina Semiconductors International is only Polish manufacturer of power semicoductor devices - diodes and thyristors.
Our offer includes diodes (standard rectifier diodes and fast recovery diodes), thyristors (standard phase control thyristors, fast-switching thyristors and pulse thyristors), assemblies, heatsinks and mounting accessories.
For manufacture of our devices we use advanced technical solutions and processes - both own and licensed ones.
All our devices are of highest world quality. The Company implemented ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Our main costomers are ABB Polska and Powerex Inc (U.S.A.)

Some history

The company was established in 1996, when the power semiconductor department of LAMINA S.A. Company has been separated and converted into an independent Company. As the only Polish manufacturer of power semiconductor devices (diodes and thyristors), the Company cultivates thirty years' tradition of power semiconductor devices manufacture in Zakłady Elektronowe LAMINA S.A. in Piaseczno, where first power semiconductor devices were developed at the end of sixties based on own technical solutions. At the beginning of seventies the Company bought the licence from the American Company Westinghouse Electric Corp. Since then, both product design and manufacturing processes were continuously developed based on own technical solutions, e.g. the unique radiation process for manufacture of fast-operating devices.
